DESCRIPTION:Vox Populi presents ‘To the Wild’\, a concert where we explore choral music that celebrates the natural world and our ever-more precarious relationship with it. Featuring music by Britten\, Finzi\, McDowall and Stanford. \nVox Populi is a professional vocal consort based in Newcastle Upon Tyne whose mission is to bring high-quality choral music to the North East of England. They regularly perform a variety of repertoire\, from early Renaissance works to modern arrangements of contemporary songs and have developed a reputation for their engaging\, themed concert programmes and enchanting performances. \nAbout Classical Café\nClassical Café is a series of Sunday afternoon performances at Middlesbrough Town Hall. Listen to classical music in a more informal and relaxed atmosphere\, enjoying coffee and cake while you listen! \nTickets: £5\, free for under 16s. Doors open 2pm for refreshments.
