‘Careers in music in Tees Valley: An Open Conversation’

Are you aged 16-25 and interested in a career in music? Do you feel you need more support to get where you want to be?

Are you a music professional and can help to shape a future of sustained and clear progression routes for young people into the local music industry and careers?

Is there enough support for talent development in Tees Valley for emerging music professionals?

We are inviting representatives from the local music industry including promoters, technicians, managers, marketing and media, publishing, venues and festivals, and of course young people aged 16-25 to take part in an ‘Open Conversation’ around how we can further support to develop talent in the Tees Valley and entry into music careers, and also how we can work together to break down misconceptions of music as a viable career option to those who influence young people.

The discussion will be held via Zoom and streamed Live on the Musinc facebook page.
