Call out for emerging music leaders and emerging classical music practitioners

Musinc are looking for emerging music leaders and emerging classical musicians for two new and exciting mentoring programmes based in Teesside.

Musical Inclusion Mentoring Initiative (MIMI)

MIMI is for existing or emerging music leaders looking to develop their skills in delivering music workshops with a particular focus on inclusive practice (learning about what inclusive practice actually is!)

Classical Music Mentoring Initiative (CMMI)

CMMI is for emerging classical musicians who are looking for guidance from a professional working in their field of interest within classical music. Whether you are an emerging performer, composer, conductor, project manager, teacher or academic this is ideal for anyone looking to develop a career in the classical music industry.

Both mentoring programmes will include facilitated group sessions covering knowledge and skills needed for any music related career including working inclusively, communication, networking, time management, finance and organisational skills.

Mentoring programmes will run from October 2021 to February 2022.

For enquiries please email tim_coyte@middlesbrough.gov.uk.
