Operatunists

A woman spreading her arms and standing sihouetted under a spotlight on stage

We offer Opera in an Hour workshops at Middlesbrough Town Hall. As well as working on opera and musical choruses, members would get the chance to sing solos, duets and work on the drama and staging of scenes.

Next up:

Opera In An Hour – The Barber Of Seville

Saturday 2nd July, 2-3pm

Fire Station, Middlesbrough Town Hall

Tickets: £6

Have you always fancied a go at singing opera? Well now’s your chance!

Local opera singers Emily and David will be leading an opera in an hour workshop on Rossini’s The Barber of Seville. Everyone is welcome to this fun and engaging session.

With lively warmups, choreography and dramatic delivery this workshop will be a whistle stop tour of all the famous musical numbers from one of the world’s most popular operas. You do not need to be an opera aficionado to take part in this workshop, just a willingness to experience the joy and passion of this epic work.
