Open Access Groups

Young people are welcome to come along to any of our open access groups (age specifications permitting). Within these groups we deliver a varied programme of free musical activities including some small group instrumental and vocal tuition and making music together as a group. Many of the groups include some songwriting and music technology. All activities are young person centred and we accommodate the needs of the young people as much as possible.

Please note: there may be changes to these groups due to COVID-19. Please contact us for the latest updates.

Musinc Nights at Middlesbrough Town Hall (and online)

Following the Easter holidays, from Monday 19th April, all music group sessions will take place face-to-face at the Town Hall with all activities free for those who need it to be. Most sessions are also available to access online. See below for more information on the sessions we are currently running.

Sessions marked with a star * mean that you can access these sessions online so that you are virtually ‘in the room’ at the time. This option provides the opportunity to join in from home, or just watch the session with camera off if you’re not sure whether you want to join! Where there is an online session as well as a face-to-face session, the online session will be a repeat of the live session so that young people can attend either option and not miss out on any content.
