From September 2024, Middlesbrough Town Hall, for ages 15-21, free to join

Young Producers is a free programme for those aged 15 to 21 who want to gain knowledge and experience in the music and events industries.

You’ll meet with others as a group and take steps to plan a live event that you want to see.

You’ll get advice from specialists in the field, including marketers, technicians, and event organisers, on what it takes to make an event at Middlesbrough Town Hall a success.

In the past, Young Producers have coordinated and produced live music events such as our Town Hall Takeovers, where up-and-coming local bands and performers were invited to grace the stage.

Young Producers will gain skills in:

  • Event planning
  • Marketing
  • Budget management
  • Artist management

You will have:

  • The opportunity to collaboratively programme a live event
  • Access to a budget for project costs
  • Ongoing support from the Musinc team
  • Access to a network of industry professionals as well as peers
  • Careers support
