Performances and Events

We provide adults and young people on our projects with as many performances opportunities as possible. We do this either by putting on our own sharing performances or linking in with other regional events.

Performance opportunities are a great way of building confidence and self-efficacy. They also help in developing transferable skills such as e.g. preparation, time management, dealing with anticipation, prioritising, discipline, hard work and collaboration.

We hold an annual ‘Young People’s Gathering’ each year which is a day for all the young people involved in Musinc projects and partner projects to come together and share performances with each other as well as taking part in a carousel of music workshops.

Our 2020 annual gathering was unfortunately unable to take place due to COVID-19, but we hope to run one at some point in 2021.
