Performances and Events

We provide adults, families and young people on our projects with as many performances opportunities as possible. We do this either by putting on our own sharing performances or linking in with other regional events.

Performance opportunities are a great way of building confidence and self-efficacy. They also help in developing transferable skills such as e.g. preparation, time management, dealing with anticipation, prioritising, discipline, hard work and collaboration.

For young people, we hold an annual Young People’s Gathering each year which is a day for everyone involved in Musinc and partner projects to come together and share performances as well as take part in a carousel of music workshops. Watch the video on the left for a behind-the-scenes look at how it all happens!
