For ages 6-12

Middlesbrough Town Hall Performing Arts provides quality training in acting, voice work, singing, movement and writing for performance for 6-12 year olds.

The sessions aim to build confidence, ensemble and performance skills, encourages students to take ownership and to meet peers who share the same interests.

Workshops are led in a fun and fast-paced environment, with students expected to work hard and to the best of their ability. Our home is the beautiful historic building, Middlesbrough Town Hall, which boasts professional performance spaces where the students can train on a weekly basis. We offer a range of performance opportunities where students can perform in parades, events, showcases and other celebrations across Middlesbrough.

Our experienced tutors have a wide variety of training and continue to work across the industry keeping their practice current which allows them to deliver top quality workshops with students.

We work in an all accessible and inclusive environment and celebrate differences widely across our provision.

Our tutors are fully DBS checked and welcome new students.

How to join

Sessions cost £7.50. Free bursaries are available for participants facing barriers; financial, medical or otherwise.
