MTH Performing Arts provides quality training in acting, voice work, singing, movement & writing for performance for 7-18 year olds.
MTHPA aims to build confidence, ensemble & performance skills, encourages students to take ownership and to meet peers who share the same interests.
Workshops are led in a fun and fast-paced environment, with students expected to work hard and to the best of their ability. Our home is the beautiful historic building, Middlesbrough Town Hall which boasts professional performance spaces where the students train in on a weekly basis. We offer a wide variety of performance opportunities where students can perform in parades, events, showcases and other celebrations across Middlesbrough.
Our tutors have a wide variety of training and are both Masters of Art specialising in Theatre and Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media and both continue to work across the industry keeping their practice current which allows them to deliver top quality workshops with the students at MTHPA.
We work in an all accessible and inclusive environment and celebrate differences widely across our provision.
