Bandjam

Four children playing electronic drums during a live performance

Band-based music activities for ages 8-17

Tuesday evenings, Middlesbrough Town Hall

Bandjam is for young people who are looking for professional tuition in guitar, bass, drums, keyboard or vocals. We offer group tuition with opportunities to play alongside other musicians. We provide instruments at the session, but you’re welcome to bring yours along.

Each session starts with a big group warm up and a chance to hang out together, before splitting off to work in your instrument/vocal groups. Throughout the year, there’ll be chances to play and perform live on stage with other musicians.

Our team of staff and facilitators are experienced in working with young people with SEND, poor mental health and families facing challenging circumstances, and tailor their work to meet the needs of the people in the room. If you have any queries about your own or your young person’s ability to access an activity or event, please get in touch to discuss your needs.

We offer newcomers a free taster session (subject to availability) so you can see what it’s like! Contact us to find out more.
