About the choir
Led by local professional opera singers Emily Smith and David Pisaro, this choir is fun, vibrant and inclusive. Open to adults of all ages the choir covers a wide range of repertoire including pop, rock, classical, folk , gospel and traditional. You do not need to be able to read music or have any previous experience of singing. The choir is a great way to make new friends, learn new skills and enjoy music together.
The choir have previously performed at live events across the region, including concerts at the Town Hall, Ripon Cathedral, and Middlesbrough’s Christmas Big Sing.
If you’ve always wanted to sing in a choir, give it a try – you’re guaranteed to leave feeling uplifted!
How to join
To join in, the cost is £4 per session. There’s no need to book in advance – you can just turn up and pay at our box office each week. You may also book online on the Town Hall website.
